Privacy and cookies

What is collected
- With your consent, usage data: the pages you open, the site you arrived from, your approximate location (country and city, worked out from your IP address), your browser, device and screen size, and a random identifier kept in a cookie and in your browser's local storage so that a later visit from the same browser is recognised.
- Always, server logs: the server that serves the pages keeps ordinary access logs, including IP addresses, for a short time to run and protect the service.
The league and team numbers you enter on Live are not part of the usage data. FPL Tilt has no accounts, shows no advertising and does not sell or share data for marketing.
Cookies
Analytics cookies are set only after you choose “Accept”. If your browser sends “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control, that is treated as a no and you are not asked.
| Cookie | Purpose | Kind | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
fpl_tilt_consent | Remembers your answer to the cookie question | Necessary | 6 months |
ph_…_posthog | Recognises your browser on later visits, for usage statistics (cookie and local storage) | Analytics, with consent | 12 months |
Why, and on what legal ground
Usage data is used to understand which parts of the site are used and to improve it. The legal ground is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Server logs are kept on the ground of a legitimate interest in running a secure service (Article 6(1)(f)).
Who receives it
Usage data is processed for FPL Tilt by PostHog, Inc., an analytics provider, and stored in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany). It is not passed to anyone else.
How long it is kept
Usage data is kept for at most 12 months. Server logs are kept for a short time and then deleted.
Your choices and rights
You can change your answer at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page; taking back a yes removes what analytics stored in your browser. You have the right to ask for access to data about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to its use, and to complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY) or the authority in your own country.
Live mini-league
Live shows public data from the official game: a league's standings and each team's picks, with names as the game publishes them. It is held in memory while matches are played and is not stored.
Support
Tips go through an external service with its own privacy policy. FPL Tilt never sees card or account details.
