Seven in ten of us own João Pedro. Is he a sell?
João Pedro is in 70% of teams and Chelsea go to an Everton side that hasn't lost. Rogers, Szoboszlai and Gvardiol have question marks too. Then the armband, three players nobody owns, and whether it's a week for a chip.
João Pedro is in seven out of ten teams. Chelsea go to Everton on Saturday, and Everton haven't lost all season. They've let in five goals in six matches, and only two of those at home.
So is he a sell, or is that a massive overreaction? He's one of four players in a lot of our teams that I'd be thinking hard about this week. None of them are must-sells. But you've probably only got one free transfer, and that won't fix all four.
The four
The case for selling João Pedro is the fixture, and the minutes. FPL Tilt has him down for about an hour, which is why he's only projected for 3.5 points this week.

Figures read on 15 October 2026. The projections are updated daily: Players shows today's figures.
The case for holding him is everything else. He's on 45 points, level with Haaland, and he doesn't need 90 minutes to score. Our figure for him is lower than most, so I'd treat it as a question rather than an answer.
Morgan Rogers is the same fixture and the same worry. He's expected to play more, 80 minutes, and he's projected for 3.6 against João Pedro's 3.5. If you only want one Chelsea attacker this week, there honestly isn't much between them.
Dominik Szoboszlai is the hard one. The hamstring that kept him out at Anfield is still flagged at 75%, and Liverpool rarely say much before the team sheet. Even if he's fit, he's expected to play 37 minutes. Around him, Alexander Isak and Cody Gakpo are out with no return date, and Ryan Gravenberch is suspended for the trip to Brentford. If you hold him and he plays, you've saved a transfer. If you hold him and he doesn't, you'll find out an hour before kick-off, again.
Gvardiol or Guéhi
Joško Gvardiol looks like the easy keep. City are at home to Ipswich, who've let in twelve in six, and City have kept three clean sheets already. But he came off the bench last week, and FPL Tilt has him sharing the minutes, 45 this week.

Same club, same fixtures. Over the next five, Marc Guéhi is projected for 21.1 points and Gvardiol for 11.1. If you want a City defender, that's the swap I'd look at first.
The armband
Three real options, and they don't tell the same story.

Haaland, at home to Ipswich, is top of FPL Tilt's projections by a distance. Three in four of us own him, though, so a big score keeps you level more than it moves you up.
Bruno Fernandes, away at Leeds, is owned by about a third of managers, so a Bruno haul is a real swing. The worry is Leeds. They haven't lost at home, and they've only let in five all season.
Rayan Cherki is in the same match as Haaland, and he scored at Anfield in Gameweek 6. The worry is minutes: he's expected to play about 70, and City share them around.
The ranges overlap almost completely. If you're protecting a lead in your mini-league, Haaland is where the armband goes. If you're chasing, that's when Bruno or Cherki start to look interesting.
The ones nobody owns
Three players hardly anyone has, all near the top of FPL Tilt's projections. None of them are perfect.

António Silva, the Bournemouth defender, is owned by 0.6% of managers. Sunderland come to Bournemouth having let in twelve in six, and over the next five he's projected for 21.5. The catch is that Bournemouth haven't kept a clean sheet yet, and he's only got 13 points to show for the season.
Jan Paul van Hecke, at Spurs, is owned by 6.3%. They're at home to Coventry, who've scored five all season. He should play the whole game. The catch is that Spurs have only kept two clean sheets, and at £4.9m you're relying on another.
Gonzalo García, at Fulham, is owned by 7.2%. Fulham are at home to Hull, and his likely range this week goes up to 12, as high as anyone's outside Haaland. The catch is that he's only got 16 points, and Hull have kept three clean sheets, the same as City.
The news
At Arsenal, the Evening Standard reports Mikel Arteta saying Piero Hincapié and Martín Zubimendi are both doubts for Forest. If Hincapié misses out, Riccardo Calafiori looks even more certain to start at left-back. He's in more than half of our teams and projected for 4.4.
Kevin Schade at Brentford and Luke Shaw at United are both flagged at 75%.
A chip, or roll?
There's a decent case for all three.
Wildcard, if three or four of those players are yours. You deal with all of them in one go, and you're building for the weeks after this one.
Free Hit, if this week is the problem and the rest of your team is fine. You get past the Liverpool mess and the Chelsea question, and by next week you'll know a lot more about Szoboszlai and João Pedro.
Roll, if it's just one of them. Next week you'd have two transfers and a much clearer picture.
If your team's in decent shape, rolling is fine. If you've got two or three of those players, a chip starts to make a lot of sense.
The Gameweek 7 deadline is Saturday 17 October at 11:00 UK time.
